Plot Overview
Mike (Josh Randall) and his girlfriend Sheryl (Brianna Brown) head off for a weekend backpacking trip in the mountains of West Virginia, planning a romantic proposal along the trail. Ignoring warnings from local townspeople, they hike off-path into the dense forest surrounding Timber Falls.
Their peaceful getaway turns nightmarish when Sheryl suddenly vanishes from their campsite. While desperately searching for her, Mike is attacked, subdued, and captured by a zealot local family led by Clyde (Nick Searcy) and his fanatic wife Ida (Beth Broderick).
The couple learns the chilling motive behind their abduction: Ida and Clyde are unable to have children and use their deformed, terrifying son Deacon (Sascha Rosemann) to kidnap fertile young couples passing through the woods. Held captive in an underground bunker, Mike and Sheryl are subjected to severe psychological and physical torture to force them into conceiving a child for the family—leaving them to fight for survival and escape the wilderness cabin.
