Plot Overview
After a farming family is found brutally slaughtered on the outskirts of Amsterdam, local authorities bring in Royal Zoo veterinarian Lizzy (Sophie van Winden) to inspect the remains. Lizzy quickly determines that the horrific injuries were caused by a massive, rogue male lion weighing over 600 pounds.
Police initially dismiss her assessment as impossible for a Dutch city, but panic ensues when the rogue apex predator enters the urban center of Amsterdam, hunting citizens in public parks, trams, and residential neighborhoods.
With the police outmatched and an incompetent hunter failing to stop the beast, Lizzy teams up with her ex-boyfriend, a photojournalist named Fabian (Julian Looman), and enlists Jack Dela Cruz (Mark Frost), a disabled British big-game hunter who uses a motorized wheelchair. Together, they embark on a high-stakes hunt through the streets and parks of Amsterdam to neutralize the monstrous lion before it kills again.
