Plot Overview
23 years after the unsolved abduction and murder of an 11-year-old girl in a wheat field, a young girl named Sinikka vanishes from the exact same location under identical circumstances. The unsettling coincidence unearths deep trauma for the original detective Krischan (Burghart Klaußner) and a younger investigator, David Jahn (Sebastian Blomberg), who is coping with the recent death of his wife.
As police race against time, the narrative delves into the psychological weight of guilt borne by the two perpetrators from 1987—one who moved on to build a quiet family life and another whose dark obsessions never truly faded.
