Plot Overview
After an wild, all-night graduation party on a secluded beach, a group of hungover twenty-somethings wake up under a scorching sun to discover something terrifying: an unknown, carnivorous creature has buried itself beneath the sand, devouring anything with a heartbeat that makes physical contact with the ground.
Stranded on elevated spots—a lifeguard tower, a parked car, a picnic table, and a trash barrel—the survivors must find a way to navigate across the lethal terrain without touching the sand. As heat exhaustion sets in and the glowing, tentacled creature grows more aggressive, the friends attempt increasingly desperate escape plans to reach safety before they are consumed alive.
