Plot Overview
During a mountain hiking trip near Mount Welirang, four young friends wander off the main trail and pass through a mysterious market believed to act as an interdimensional gateway. After disrespecting a sacred local offering found along their path, the group unwittingly triggers an ancient curse.
The hikers find themselves lost and trapped in an otherworldly, mist-shrouded hamlet known as the Dusun Mayit (“Village of the Dead”). In this surreal, terrifying village, time operates unnaturally: graveyards contain headstone-less graves, eerie puppets move without puppeteers, and unsettling, bald figures watch them from the shadows.
As paranormal events escalate, the group uncovers the hamlet’s sinister purpose: the village exists outside the human realm to sacrifice lost souls to demonic forces. Desperately searching for a way home, the survivors must navigate dark rituals and deadly traps before they are permanently claimed by the village.
