Plot Overview
The Davis family—father Rick (Michael Papajohn), son Harrison (Dave Davis), and daughter Molly (Allisyn Snyder)—head to a secluded vacation home in the Ozarks of Arkansas for a quiet summer getaway. However, their peaceful trip is quickly disrupted when a pack of freshwater-adapted bull sharks migrates upstream into the Ozark river system.
Unaware of the danger, local tourists, kayakers, and partygoers attending the annual Ozark Sunflower Festival become easy prey for the ravenous predators. The sharks display unnatural aggression, navigating shallow creeks and attacking swimmers directly along the shoreline.
When the local authorities dismiss the initial attacks as boating accidents, the Davis family must team up with Jones (Thomas Francis Murphy), an eccentric local survivalist armed with custom weaponry, and Pete (Ross Britz), a store clerk. Together, they take matters into their own hands to eliminate the pack of sharks before the town’s summer festival is completely wiped out.
