Plot Overview
Naïve young corporate accountant Macarena Ferreiro (Maggie Civantos) falls in love with her boss, who manipulates her into committing several accounting crimes. Exposed and framed, she is sentenced to seven years in Cruz del Sur, a high-security women’s prison.
In order to survive the harsh environment, Macarena is forced to adapt rapidly, forming alliances while clashing with the prison’s most dangerous inmate, Zulema Zahir (Najwa Nimri). The situation escalates when a hidden stash of 9 million Euros becomes the target of both inmates inside the prison and criminal operatives on the outside.
