Plot Overview
Oh Joon-woo (Yoo Ah-in) is a video gamer spending a normal morning alone in his family’s apartment in a densely populated Seoul complex. Suddenly, a mysterious virus outbreak sweeps through the city, turning infected individuals into violent, aggressive cannibals who retain memories from their former lives.
Trapped inside his high-rise apartment as hordes of zombies overrun the hallway, Joon-woo finds himself cut off from the outside world as cellular networks, Wi-Fi, and electricity fail. As days turn into weeks, his food and water run out, driving him to near total despair and isolation.
Just as Joon-woo is about to give up hope, he discovers another survivor living in the apartment building across the courtyard: Kim Yoo-bin (Park Shin-hye), a resourceful young woman equipped with survival tools and outdoor gear. Communicating via signs, laser pointers, and a makeshift zip-line, the pair form a vital bond and pool their resources to plot a dangerous escape through the zombie-infested complex.
