Plot Overview
Set against a quiet, rural British backdrop, John (Paul Higgins) is a reserved man who spends his days near an isolated reservoir, consumed by quiet grief and routine. His routine is broken when Sarah (Nicola Wright), a woman connected to a painful chapter from his past, unexpected arrives seeking answers about a tragic drowning incident that took place years prior.
As they sit by the motionless water, their conversation unearths buried guilt, unspoken truths, and unresolved trauma.
The calm, deceptive surface of the lake mirrors the emotional state of the characters—appearing completely still on the outside, while dark, treacherous currents churn underneath.
