Plot Overview
Set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass known as “The Continent,” Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) is a mutated monster hunter for hire—a Witcher—who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
Geralt’s destiny becomes intertwined with two powerful figures: Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), a fiercely ambitious quarter-elf sorceress who overcame a traumatic past to gain formidable magic, and Crown Princess Ciri (Freya Allan) of Cintra, a young girl possessing an extraordinary, dangerous magical lineage known as Elder Blood.
As the expansionist Nilfgaardian Empire wages war across the Continent and political factions, sorcerers, and monarchs hunt Ciri to claim her power, Geralt and Yennefer must protect the young princess and navigate a continent falling into chaos.
